Introduction: Individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF) frequently exhibit altered insulin and glucose metabolism and many develop cystic fibrosis related diabetes (CFRD). Lung function is influenced by glucose metabolism with changes in glucose metabolism resulting in deterioration in lung function.
